The Children’s Ark at St. George’s is a full-day early care and learning program, grounded in the Christian tradition, that provides a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment, accommodating the developmental needs of each child.
About us
The Children’s Ark at St. George’s Church has been providing care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old sinc 1995.

The Ark has four core programs for infants and toddlers, young preschool and preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten.

Programs
Unique and engaging learning activities at The Children’s Ark are created by our teachers according to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards using the Creative Curriculum and Learning Without Tears curriculum.
Infants & Toddlers Program
6 weeks – 2 years old
Focus on the individual and developmental needs of each child. Learning activities based on PA Early Learning Standards.
Young Preschool & Preschool
2 – 3 year olds
Additional focus on social and emotional development needs of each child using the Creative Curriculum.
Pre-Kindergarten Program
4 year olds
Continued focus on social and emotional development using the Learning Without Tears Curriculum.
Kindergarten Enrichment
5 year olds
Supplementary program to Haverford School District’s half day kindergarten to and from Coopertown Elementary.
